Medo is an image-based expression generation app operated by Medo Team.
This document explains how information is handled only during the moment you actively use the app.
If you continue to use Medo, you acknowledge and accept the practices described below. If you do not agree, you should stop using the app and avoid uploading any photos.
Medo does not collect data simply because it is installed.
Information is involved only when a user chooses to:
· upload a photo
· select an expression style
· generate a visual result
There is no background monitoring, passive tracking, or automatic data intake.
Photos are provided voluntarily by users.
Uploaded images are used exclusively to generate expression visuals requested by the user.
Medo does not examine images for identity, personal background, or behavioral patterns.
Images are not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.
Medo does not collect, analyze, recognize, or store biometric or facial data.
Specifically, Medo does not:
· perform facial recognition
· identify individuals in images
· detect or store facial landmarks
· create biometric identifiers or templates
If a face appears in an uploaded photo, it is treated only as part of the overall visual content for stylized transformation — never as personal identity data.
Image processing in Medo serves one purpose only:
to generate a stylized expression image based on the selected theme.
The system applies predefined visual styling elements, such as color treatment, layout, and artistic effects, to produce expressive results.
It does not attempt to interpret real emotions, personality traits, identity, or personal characteristics.
All image handling takes place in a temporary and secure processing environment.
Once the requested expression image is generated:
· temporary processing data is automatically deleted immediately after processing is completed
· uploaded images are not retained for future use
· no image archive tied to a user account is created
Medo does not maintain long-term storage of user photos.
6.1 AI Processing Infrastructure and Data Flow
To generate expression-based visual results, Medo processes uploaded images within a limited and purpose-specific AI processing environment.
This processing may involve secure computing infrastructure used solely to perform the requested image generation task. Such infrastructure, where applicable, operates strictly under Medo’s control and instructions and does not independently access, retain, reuse, or repurpose user images.
Uploaded images may temporarily pass through this processing environment only to generate the selected output. They are not stored as datasets, not reused for any secondary purposes, and not made available for advertising, analytics, model training, or biometric analysis.
By choosing to upload a photo and initiate image generation, the user explicitly consents to this limited processing behavior as described in this Privacy Notice.
Your images remain under your control.
Original photos and generated expression images are managed by you on your device.
You may save, delete, or reuse them at your discretion.
When images are removed by the user, Medo does not keep backups or copies.
Depending on how you use Medo, the app may request limited device permissions, such as:
· camera access, if you choose to take a photo within the app
· photo library access, to upload existing images
· network access, to process requests and deliver results
Medo does not require access to contacts, location data, microphone input, or unrelated device information.
All permissions can be managed or revoked through your device settings.
To ensure reliable operation, Medo may process minimal technical information, including:
· app version and device type
· performance diagnostics
· error or crash signals
This information is used solely to maintain stability and improve functionality.
It is not linked to uploaded images and not used for user profiling.
Medo does not sell personal data.
Information is not shared with third parties except where necessary to operate core processing infrastructure or comply with legal obligations.
Uploaded images are never shared for advertising, analytics, profiling, biometric processing, or marketing purposes.
Medo follows a short-lifecycle data approach.
Information exists only for the brief duration required to complete the requested image generation task.
Once processing is finished, data is not retained beyond this operational period.
Medo is intended for users aged 17 and above.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This document may be updated if Medo’s processing methods or features change.
The version available within the app reflects the practices currently in effect.
